Music-Making Initiatives
The renowned Bach Festival Choir, composed of auditioned singers, rehearses weekly and specializes in choral masterworks with the Bach Festival Orchestra.
The Young at Heart Chorale, for those 55+, rehearses weekly and performs outreach concerts at local community centers.
The Bach Festival Youth Choirs refine their musicianship through weekly rehearsals and perform with the Bach Festival Choir and Orchestra, as well as in community outreach concerts.

The Bach Festival Society’s Fresh StARTs program places professional musicians in schools to present unique musical experiences. The Bach Vocal Artists offer educational outreach through open rehearsals and school visits.
The Visiting Artists Series features world-renowned musicians who often present master classes, offering insights into musical excellence.
The High School Honors Choral Festival provides workshops with collegiate choral directors to help high school choirs prepare for their annual Music Performance Assessments.

The Choir of Distinction program invites Central FL choirs to compete in a multi-phase audition. The 2024-2025 “Choirs of Distinction” are Edgewater High School’s Eagle Chorus and Winter Springs High School’s Bear Voices. They will receive mentorship, attend Bach Festival Choir rehearsals, and perform with the Bach Festival Orchestra.
