OCACA – The Messiah Choral Society (MCS) will enhance Central Florida’s arts and cultural identity through the 55th performance of Handel’s Messiah.
As Central Florida\’s longest running cultural event, the Messiah Choral Society’s 55th performance of Handel’s Messiah will take place in mid-November 2027 and will be the sixth performance at the illustrious Dr. Phillips Center (DPC) in Steinmetz Hall, enhancing the experience for residents and visitors, including those who otherwise may never have the chance to see such high-quality classical work in a live concert format.
Directed by the esteemed John V. Sinclair, MCS members will exhibit outstanding execution, passion, and cohesiveness in the performance due to deliberate practice and focus on the oratorio’s detailed nuances
The performance’s positive impact will be vast due to its availability via adaptations/accommodations for individuals with challenges, including live American Sign Language interpretation at the concert, a live streaming, and recording accessible on our website.

Admission to our annual performance is completely free of charge. Tickets are not required and seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis as a gift to the Central Florida community. We are confident that if you arrive on the day of the performance before 2:30, you will find a seat.
