Hispanic Heritage Month Exhibition: Art in the Atrium
Presented by Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs in partnership with the Hispanic Heritage Network of Orange County (HHNOC)
Step into a celebration of culture, creativity, and community during Hispanic Heritage Month as Art in the Atrium returns to the Orange County Administration Center from September 4 through October 22, 2026.
This annual exhibition showcases the vibrant voices of local and international artists, highlighting the richness, diversity, and cultural contributions of Hispanic communities through visual storytelling.
The 2026 exhibition theme, “Unidos, Somos Más” (“Together, We Are More”), invites artists to explore the strength, resilience, identity, and shared experiences that connect us. Through original works of art, visitors will discover stories of heritage, tradition, family, and the many ways culture brings communities together.
For years, the Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibit has transformed the Atrium into a celebration of creativity and connection — featuring powerful works inspired by cultural icons, historic figures, traditions, and personal experiences. Past exhibitions have highlighted everything from tributes to legends like Celia Cruz and Frida Kahlo, to reflections of Puerto Rican, Colombian, Mexican, and other Hispanic traditions, while also welcoming artists with global perspectives from countries including India, Ukraine, and beyond.
Each piece offers a window into a story, creating a cultural exchange where art becomes a bridge between generations, communities, and cultures.
Join us for an inspiring celebration where every brushstroke tells a story, every artwork honors a legacy, and every visitor becomes part of a shared experience of heritage and unity.
