Exhibition Opening Reception for ALT Photo, featuring 20 artists from Central Florida working in non-traditional photographic practices.
ALT Photo seeks to expand the interpretation of photographic imagery beyond traditional methods with a focus on alternative and experimental processes. It delves into the making of a photograph as a conceptual practice, highlighting the use of the artist’s hand in the photographic experience. The image is used to capture the life of a subject, shape light, and is a visual record of a brief moment in time. This exhibition explores the technical nuance, physicality, and unpredictability of image making.
Opening Reception on Friday, August 14 | 6-8pm
