Join The Young Company Alumni for their second annual performance as they continue the Reign of Fire series with Henry VI: War of the Roses.
Join The Young Company Alumni for their second annual performance as they continue the Reign of Fire series with Henry VI: War of the Roses. This ambitious production combines all three parts of Shakespeare’s Henry VI trilogy into one sweeping story of ambition, loyalty, betrayal, and the cost of power. Originally adapted by Richard Width and first performed by TYC in 2002, this revival brings together artists from across past Young Company cohorts to revisit a piece deeply rooted in the history of the program itself. Filled with political intrigue, shifting alliances, and the spark that ignites the Wars of the Roses, this production celebrates both Shakespeare’s epic storytelling and the lasting legacy of The Young Company artists who continue to return to the work, and to one another.
