Rollins Summer Music Vocal Academy

Transform your vocal abilities at the Rollins College Summer Music Vocal Academy! Perfect your a cappella singing skills through intensive small-group training with our distinguished faculty, special guest artists from The Bach Vocal Artists, and other distinguished musicians. Through dynamic classes, you’ll master essential techniques for both solo and ensemble performance, from vocal foundations to advanced a cappella practices.

A solo recital and private voice lessons are available to a limited number of attendees. Registration in voice lessons is a requirement to participate in the solo recital. (Additional Fee)

Participation is open to rising 9th through 12th-grade students in the 2025-2026 academic year.

All participants will perform in a modern vocal jazz/contemporary ensemble, an early music chamber ensemble, and in an ensemble singing standard vocal ensemble literature.

Placements for the vocal ensembles are done by the instructors during registration and check-in on June 21.

Auditions for the Solo Recital will take place on the check-in day (June 21). Students interested in participating in the solo recital must register for voice lessons and bring a prepared piece to registration. Additional fee required: $60.00.

Please note that students who are unable to arrive at camp during the designated check-in times will not be eligible to audition. The solo recital will take place on Friday during the designated concert time in the morning.
