You are cordially invited to attend the Art in the Multicultural Center Opening Reception.
Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs presents “Dream Doodle Cosmology” by Grey W. Sturgill at the Multicultural Art Gallery, inside the Orange County Multicultural Center. An opening reception will take place on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 5 to 6 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through Tuesday, November 17, 2026. The Multicultural Center is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding holidays.
Sturgill describes her creative process as an exercise in spontaneity and individual interpretation. “Doodles are my freehand and free thoughts. They are any-direction drawings with no specific patterns, designs, or desired outcomes,” she explains. “The pen wanders and produces the finished composition. Dream doodles allow for any interpretation as perceived by the observer.”
Sturgill has explored various artistic disciplines over the years, including etching, printmaking, copper relief, yarn and fiber crafts, and painting. She has also completed coursework in architectural drafting, graphics, and printing, bringing a diverse range of creative experiences to her artistic practice.
“Dream Doodle Cosmology” by Grey W. Sturgill will be available for viewing through November 17, 2026. The Orange County Multicultural Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays.
