Dennis Schmalstig: No One Famous, Nowhere Special invites visitors to discover the beauty and significance of ordinary moments through the artist’s distinctive perspective. On view September 17–October 16, 2026, the exhibition explores themes of place, memory, and the human experience, finding meaning in the seemingly commonplace. An opening reception will be held Thursday, September 17, from 6:00–8:00 p.m., featuring light bites, live entertainment by Valencia College Music Department faculty, and an artist talk at 7:00 p.m. Following the opening, the exhibition will be free and open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., beginning September 18.
