Central Florida Jazz Society Supported by Douglas Glicken Presents: Champian Fulton with the Orlando Jazz Orchestra
Soak up sounds from the “most gifted pure jazz singer of her generation” (Mark Stryker, the Detroit Free Press). A regular performer at New York City’s legendary Birdland for more than 20 years, Champian Fulton now takes Judson’s Live with the Orlando Jazz Orchestra for the first time in a dazzling two-night residency.
In demand worldwide as a performer, Champian has appeared on stage with jazz royalty such as Lou Donaldson, Frank Wess, Scott Hamilton, Nicholas Payton and many more. She has been recognized with numerous awards, including Album of the Year in the NYC Jazz Record (2018, 2020, 2023) and Pianist and Vocalist of the Year (2019) by Hot House Magazine. Champian has performed at iconic venues everywhere from Spain to Mongolia to San Diego.
