SOBO Art Gallery invites artists to submit work for Abstract Conversations, an exhibition celebrating contemporary abstraction and the power of visual expression beyond words.
SOBO Art Gallery seeks artist to contribute art for an exhibit: Abstract Conversations where form, color, movement, texture, composition, and emotion create their own language. This exhibition invites artists to explore abstraction as a way to communicate ideas, feelings, energy, memory, rhythm, tension, harmony, and personal interpretation without relying on literal imagery.
Artists working in a variety of media are encouraged to submit work that pushes beyond representation and invites viewers into a visual dialogue. Whether bold and expressive, quiet and meditative, geometric, gestural, minimal, layered, or experimental, submitted artwork should reflect the many ways abstraction can speak, connect, and challenge perception.
Submissions are open September 1–8, 2026
