Arts & Culture Calendar Frequently Asked Questions

Unless the event is ongoing, events with dates that have past are automatically delisted from the calendar. ​

However, you can still see passed events either through your account or through looking on your organization page.​

To view them through your account, log in to your dashboard and go to the “Events” tab on the left of the screen. ​Then click on “Manage Events”. ​

From here you can view past events, upcoming events, drafts, etc.​

To view past events through your organization page enter your organization name in the “Select Organization” bar and click search. ​

The search results will list your upcoming events – the title followed by Presented by and your organization name. ​

Click on the name only.

Once you are on their organization page you should be able to see your organization description followed by tabs for upcoming and past events.​

Click the “Past Events” tab to view the details of your past events.​

To complete a daft event, log in to your dashboard and go to the “Events” tab on the left of the screen.

Then click on “Manage Events“.

From here you can view past events, upcoming events, drafts, etc.

Click the “Draft Events” tab and find the draft you would like to complete.

 

Click the “Edit” button under your event. This will take you to the “Enter Event Details” page where you can complete and submit your event.​

To edit information on an event listing that has been previously published you will first need to navigate to your dashboard​

Click the “Events” option and then click the “Manage Events” subsection. From here you should be able to see all of your upcoming events.

 

After you’ve located the event that you would like to change the details of click the “Edit” icon under the listing.    ​

Proceed to Step two and then three at the bottom of the page.​

Use step three to preview your listing and make sure all your information is correct and click “Submit Listing” at the bottom of the page.

The bulk upload tool allows you upload multiple events at one time.​

To use it first navigate to your dashboard and click on the “Events” tab.​

Next click the “Import” option.

The information for each event in each section of the embedded sheet. ​

After you have finished entering your events click the arrow on the top left of the sheet to import your events.  

If you would like to come back to your bulk import at a later date, click the “Save” icon on the top left of the sheet. ​

If you are coming back to complete a bulk import that you have saved, navigate back to the import tool.​

Use the dropdown bar to select your bulk import draft.​

Click “Edit Import” to continue entering your event information.​

To add your organization, first navigate to your dashboard and then click “Organization/Business” on the option bar. ​

Click “Add New” from the dropdown ​

Fill in the required organization information and submit.​

Your organization will be reviewed within 48 hours. If it is accepted you will find your organization in the “Presenting Organization” dropdown section the next time you submit an event. ​

After navigating to the Arts and Culture Calendar find the “Select Category” search bar and select  “OCACA” from the drop-down menu.​

Next enter your organization name in the “Select Organization” search. ​

Your final search criteria will be your time frame, enter your start and end dates and click search.​

The page will populate with all of the events that you tagged with OCACA during the event submission process. ​

Select the radio button next to “One Page” if applicable.​

Next select the printer icon.​


The layout will prepare, print ready.​

Do NOT click “Save to PDF“. Instead click “Print” and select “Save as PDF” from the printer drop down menu.​

Finally, click the blue “Save” button on the bottom of the print menu to save your PDF in the location of your choosing.​

 

 

NOTE: If you find that your events are not listed, you may not have included the category OCACA. You can add the OCACA tag by editing your event details. For instructions on how to do this, please see the FAQ section on “My event details have changed, how do I edit my event?“.
