Carolyn Maue
Carolyn’s musical journey has taken her from the classical piano lessons of her youth to the heart of cabaret. Rooted in a rich tapestry of musical influences, she first found her voice in folk rock, performing with the Pittsburgh band Last Hurrah in the ‘80s and ‘90s, where she discovered the joy of bringing raw emotion to the stage. Her passion for storytelling through song deepened as she explored classical and choral music, becoming a featured soloist in renowned ensembles. Today, she performs with the Bach Festival Choir of Winter Park.
Drawn to the wit and elegance of lyricists like Lorenz Hart and Cole Porter and the contemporary brilliance of songwriters such as Randy Newman and John Prine, Carolyn developed a deep appreciation for the art of cabaret.
