Alexis Collum

As a multimedia community-based artivist (artist and activist), Alexis Collum creates artwork that is intimately connected with the Earth, People, and Animals. She utilizes the powerful healing and storytelling properties of art to inspire collaboration, creative expression, and active participation towards creating a better world for everyone. Colorful, whimsical organic forms and pathways provide an invitation to explore depths found within both the composition and interwoven symbolism of her art. Her goal is to uplift and illuminate the inner and collective psyche.

Her artwork varies from painting, mixed media collage, sculpture, film, and drawing – whatever the piece calls for. She incorporates found objects, natural material, and often discarded materials to provide an opportunity for another life and perspective.   

Alexis received her Bachelor’s in Studio Arts with a minor in Business from the University of Central Florida in 2021. Based in Orlando, Florida, she creates through her small business Alexis Kayla Creations, LLC. Alexis’s artwork has been featured in numerous exhibitions and murals throughout Florida, including Gainesville, Boca Raton, and Orlando.
