Teagan Carregal is an Orlando-based multidisciplinary artist turning everyday moments into her own visual perspective. Born in Orlando, she moved several times before returning to attend the University of Central Florida, where she studied Visual Arts Management, Art History, and Studio Art. Though she has been creating for as long as she can remember, she fell in love with art during her junior year of high school, and has been honing her practice ever since.
Her work spans acrylics, linoleum-based printmaking, graphite, charcoal, and watercolor, encompassing landscapes, seascapes, portraits, and observational studies. Across all subjects, she is fascinated by the way light impacts color, defines form, and transforms perception. The techniques she chooses, the colors she selects, and the small details she emphasizes are informed by where she is in life at the moment. Painting becomes both an escape and a love letter to the world around her. She is drawn to capturing beauty as a quiet counterpoint to life’s challenges, inviting viewers to slow down and notice what often goes unseen.
Outside the studio, Teagan is involved in Orlando’s arts community, serving as Marketing and Creative Manager at CityArts, part of the Downtown Arts District. In this role, she curates exhibitions, manages artist communications, and oversees marketing across social media, email campaigns, and print and digital materials. Working closely with artists, curators, and the community has been inspiring, and she feels her own work has grown alongside the people she collaborates with. She credits this creative network with reigniting her love of art and helping her continue to develop as an artist.
